The Cisco 3800 Series includes the Cisco 3825 and Cisco 3845 Series Routers. These routers integrate a comprehensive set of security features such as firewall, IPSec and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) VPN, intrusion prevention system (IPS), and voice call processing with advanced wired and wireless services for rapid deployment of new applications that include application layer functions, intelligent network services, and converged communications.

C3KX-NM-1G The Cisco Catalyst 3750-X Series and 3560-X Series Switches support four optional network modules for uplink ports. The default switch configuration doesn't include the uplink module; at the time of switch purchase the customer has the flexibility to choose from the network modules

The NM-16A/S combines the rich multiprotocol support of the NM-4A/Sand NM-8A/S with higher densities to provide compelling price-per-port solutions for networking applications. In addition tothe features of the NM-4A/S and NM-8A/S, the NM-16A/S adds EIA-530A support, and support for physical lead manipulation in the IOS configuration. Lead manipulation allows the user to configure the router to ignore input signals, view the state of input signals, and to monitor thetransitions of input signals.

Provides support for basic dial service via RJ-11 connectors. It allowsup to 16 remote analog modem users to connect via internal V.92 modems at speeds of up to 56 Kbps.

Provides 16 switch ports, one GbE port and one internal port to the router engine. Features include 802.1p prioritization and 802.11q VLAN, and 802.1d Spanning-Tree Protocol.

Provides one auto-sensing 10/100Base-FX connection via a fiber connector.

Cisco One-port Fast Ethernet Network Module SMF FX only

Provides one full/half duplex, autosensing 10/100 Ethernet port, one full/half duplex 4/16 Token Ring port, and two WIC expansion slots. The 10/100 Ethernet connection is via an RJ-45 connector. The Token Ring connection is via an STP or UTP connector.

Provides one Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) slot to carry any standard copper or optical Cisco GBIC.

Provides serial connectivity to a T3 44.736 Mbps or E3 34.368 Mbps line with integrated line interface unit (LIU) DSU. The T3/E3 port consists of a pair of 75 ohm BNC connectors.
